I have things I’d like to sell. What type of auction would be the best for me?
There are several different options that we offer.
- If you have a house full, usually estate auctions will be highly recommended.
- If not, a consignment auction will be recommended.
- If you live in an apartment, gated community etc., we recommend combining estates.
- We also buy out right.
I need to have an estate auction. What do I need to do to prepare for it?
Please don’t do anything before we evaluate your situation. It is amazing how many things people throw away that could have been sold at auction.
We are a full service company. We set up the entire house, advertise, take photos, and catalog.
All you need to worry about is deciding what you want to keep.
What percentage do you charge for consignment & estate auctions?
Every auction is unique. Please call us for more information, contact us.
Do you have reserves/minimums on your items?
If any items have a reserve the amount is visible on the lot tag.
Is there a deposit required for registering to bid?
No, there is not.
Are children allowed to attend auctions?
Absolutely! We encourage children to attend our auctions.
What do I need to bring when attending your auctions?
Estate: Our estate auctions are usually held outside under our tents. We also have food & beverages available. Bring a comfortable chair, sunscreen, hat, etc.
Consignment: Our consignment auctions are usually held indoors. Feel free to wear sunscreen.
I saw a photo of an item to be auctioned on your website that I am interested in, but I cannot attend the auction. Do I need to be at the auction to bid?
You do not have to be at the auction to bid. You can leave bids with us (absentee bids/left bids) and we will bid for you. We also provide bidding via phone.
Do you do online auctions?
At the moment, we do not.
However, we accept left bids and bids by phone.
How soon after an auction do I have to pick up my items? Is delivery available?
Items have to be picked up the same day at a consignment auction. At our estate auctions, we provide pickup until the following day. Delivery is available.
When is your auction season?
Generally we are open January through June, and September to the beginning of December. We close during the summer due to unpredictable weather & the harsh heat.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash and approved checks.
We charge a 15% buyer's premium and offer a 5% discount (10%BP) for cash and check.
